Executive Functioning Coaching
Whether you are a middle or high school student juggling increased homework demands with a social life, a young adult managing the transition to college or living independently, or an adult who wonders if really has to be this hard, executive functioning coaching gives essential structure and guidance so you can get your head above water.
During our initial sessions we will learn about you, your challenges, your vision for the future, and discuss any assessments would help guide our first steps, such as the sensory processing measure and executive functioning inventory.
A typical 50-minute online session is designed to provide both structure and personalized support through the following components:
Initial Grounding: We begin with a few minutes of free writing to capture immediate thoughts you want to be sure to address, or set extra thoughts aside to focus on the session.
Weekly Review: We examine the previous week to identify specific successes and challenges.
Strategic Planning: We will create and organize a list of upcoming tasks and goals by importance and due date, developing a balanced plan for the days ahead.
Life Skills Support: Direct coaching for areas such as nutrition, organization, socializing, hygiene, and money management.
Clinical Deep Dive: We explore your unique sensory profile, strengths, and past experiences to better understand how your brain works. This allows us to implement new strategies for the upcoming week and move away from methods that are no longer effective.

Group Options

Group sessions, group chat, and body doubling (logging on at designated times to get work done while others are also working) are all additional options in addition to one on one sessions that can offer tremendous support. I truly believe that we are strongest in community, and these collaborative tools can be invaluable in providing the structure and connection needed for success.
